Poland censors “Little Britain”
Last Friday the government-controlled television network, TVP, censored an episode of the British comedy show “Little Britain”. If you can’t believe that within the European Union there still exists a country fighting against freedom of speech, watch carefully.

No hint, even the mildest, that the vicar may be gay. He seems to be a little gay friendly but nothing more.
TVP spokesperson Aneta Wrona told AFP:
We decided to cut a scene which could cause controversy among Polish viewers and which isn’t exactly in line with our mission as a public television channel. … It’s a different sense of humour, and one which is sometimes incomprehensible for the Polish public. More…
Yeah, especially for those who watch “Little Britain” every Friday midnight.
